Error: Graph Create failed (FITMASTER)

Question:

When I go to Series Fit in FITMASTER, the parameters of my analyzed data are listed and I can select them as the x- and y-wave, but I can't get a graph. At the same time there is a error message in the notebook:

"Error - Graph Create failed."

Answer:

There is an incompatibility between your existing Fitmaster.set file and the running FITMASTER version, e.g. the Fitmaster.set file might originally belong to another FITMASTER version. Close your FITMASTER software if it is still running. Open your FITMASTER folder and delete the Fitmaster.set file. After that start FITMASTER again and set the appropriate hardware settings in the startup dialog. Now the error message should not pop-up again.
