Loading Configuration File: xx parameter(s) missing. Load it anyway?

Question:

After updating my PATCHMASTER version, the error message:

"Loading Configuration File: xx parameter(s) missing. Load it anyway?"

came up. What does this mean?

Answer:

The configuration file (Patchmaster.set) is changing with each new version. New parameters are added, others might become obsolete. If a new version is installed in an already existing Patchmaster folder, then the old setting file is not overwritten. Instead, PATCHMASTER offers to convert it to the new format by adding missing parameters. So, the message you get is not an error message, it is just for your information. If you decide, not to load the old configuration file, then PATCHMASTER will start with the default settings.
